Our little family made a trip to the zoo today. We didn't want to go on a Saturday because it is such a, well, zoo, so we had planned for Justin to take this day off in advance. The weather cooperated perfectly and ended up being a gorgeous day after the rain yesterday. There were a lot of school groups on field trips, but it wasn't too crowded. Levi refuses to take a nap anywhere but his crib (and occasionally the car), so as usual, he was really tired almost the whole time. Luckily, even when he is really tired and sleepy, he doesn't become very cranky or cry. He will actually still smile and laugh. We arrived about 10:30 and didn't leave until 3:00 or so. We had a great day together and saw lots of interesting animals...
Levi loved watching these little monkeys
This tunnel runs through a fish tank. Levi LOVED it. He played in it for several minutes until some other kids arrived and we had to share. In the picture below you can see he was crawling fast back and forth between us both.
More monkeys and Justin's favorite, the orangutan.
Hamming it up for the camera.
Levi liked the "big kitties"
Lol, it's like he was trying to dodge the camera.
I like the otters; I think they are just so cute.
Levi enjoyed petting the goats. He was a little unsure at first, but
then he got really excited and almost scared the goats away.
And this was Levi as we left the parking lot!
Looks like a fun day. Glad you could keep up with Justin. He always got away from me at the zoo.
