Button Tree

I just wanted to share this because I am so proud of it.  I saw something similar on Pinterest and wanted to make one myself and actually did.  I plan to hang it in Mattie's room over the changing table.  With all of the bright colors it should catch her eye as her sight develops.

First, I painted the background colors last night.

Then I painted the tree this morning.  Here is a closer look at the tree.  I found this really pretty shiny copper paint that I used for some accent.  Oh how I love shiny things. :)

 

And then this afternoon I glued the buttons on.  Voila! My button tree is complete!
