Justin and I spent last year saving up our credit card points, researching DSLR cameras, and watching the sales. We finally cashed in those points for gift cards to Best Buy and purchased a Nikon D3200. I'm glad we waited because the one I liked over a year ago was a Sony one and after checking out the newest models, I think I am much happier with the Nikon. I haven't had too many chances yet to play around with it and all the different settings, but I have taken a few pictures that turned out pretty good. So here are some random pictures I have taken after messing around with the aperture, shutter speed, and other functions of the camera. The last few pictures I took of Levi at the park today now that the weather was finally nice. Enjoy!
One of the first pictures I took (the 2nd one, I think!). Gizmo was a good subject.
"Down, set, hike!"
Look what Uncle Brandon got Levi for Christmas.
I think Daddy was more excited than Levi.
Mom is right in the line of fire.
Ooh, it's fun to put the marshmallows in the tube. Levi also quickly picked up on the sound it makes when it shoots. "Phew, phew!" He is such a boy.
A little too much sun in this one but I thought it was still cute of Levi.
He finally took off his hat. It actually lasted quite a while.
Hat hair!
