Baby number 2 is growing and looking just fine. I had an ultrasound last Monday at about 12 1/2 weeks and it is measuring perfectly for the 4/3/13 due date. Which means I'll probably end up having it in March because the doctor will be doing my scheduled c-section a week before she thinks it will come. A few people have asked why a week early - because they don't want me to go into real labor. Then the c-section becomes an emergency c-section instead of a controlled environment. I'm really not too thrilled knowing that every baby I have will be a scheduled surgery, but my body (read hips) is not made for big babies. My doctor does not recommend a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarian) just because I am so petite and because my first one was over 9 lbs. So there you go.
And now on to a couple of pictures of butterbean:
And as the decription says, this is an arm and hand. You can clearly see 4 fingers and the thumb is hidden. I am sure it will have 10 fingers and 10 toes when born - before the jokesters in my family start making comments...
