Levi is 2!

And he had a few friends over to be part of his construction crew! I did a construction themed birthday party which turned out really well. It was more like a big play date with cake.

The entrance to the party

Levi checking out the busy board Justin and I made him.

The other side is a magnetic chalkboard.

The construction cake I made.  The bottom cake is yellow cake and then a chocolate cake for the dirt.

The spread.  I put out some deli meat and cheese so everybody could construct their own sandwiches.  The black tablecloth has yellow duct tape dashes down the middle to look like a road.

We iced down the drinks in Home Depot buckets.

We had out a bunch of cars and trucks for the boys to play with.

The busy board - I did all the painting of the magnetic and chalkboard paint and striped this side with yellow and black duct tape, then trimmed all the edges in black duct tape. Justin attached all the items and put it together.

And the Lego zone.  The Legos actually stayed over in this area for the most part!

Party guests!

My dad, aka Pop, helping Caden with his construction themed sticker sheets.

Time to sing! Levi loved being center of attention.

No Mom, I don't need cake.  I can eat Aunt Michelle's.

Levi's handywork.

Time to Hop on Pop!

Gift time!  He had fun opening the gifts but it was about nap time so not too many smiles.

He loves these hand puppets.

He was not so sure about the toy snake.

He had a great birthday and had fun playing with everybody.  Thank you!
